The zirconium sizing nozzle is made of stabilized zirconia and imported natural oblique zircon after being stabilized by a special process, and then formed by high-pressure molding and high-temperature firing. The nozzle model can be set according to the different steelmaking environment and use requirements of users.

Zirconium Sizing Nozzle Description：

Zirconia nozzle is one of the tundish refractory materials in continuous casting process. It is mainly used in billet continuous casting and can control the flow of molten steel. The sizing nozzle must have excellent thermal shock resistance and erosion resistance to ensure that the molten steel can flow into the mold uniformly and steadily through the sizing nozzle, so as to ensure the normal progress of the continuous casting process and increase the production efficiency. The zirconium sizing nozzle is stabilized by special zirconia, which is formed by high-pressure molding and high-temperature firing after being stabilized by a special process.

Zirconia nozzle is one of the tundish refractory materials in continuous casting process. It is mainly used in billet continuous casting and can control the flow of molten steel. We manufacture complete range of zirconia metering nozzles used for the continuous casting of steel as a tundish refractory. Nozzles can be supplied as a solid piece or with outer high alumina body. The nozzles have high thermal stability, anti-erosion and erosion resistance, and can meet the needs of various small billet casting.

We choose high quality zirconia as the main material. In order to improve the thermal shock stability, MgO, Y2O3, CaO stabilizing agents are added to the mix.
